Once you have enabled it, the "Request Custom Order " button will appear on your Shop as well as Listings.

This error comes up when you have entered the Etsy Shop Name which has already been used up.

*You can connect one Etsy Shop with only one Shopify Store. If one Etsy Shop will be used to connect with mltiple Shopify Stores, you'll encounter this error.

If you are logged into an Etsy Store but placing the Shop Name for another Etsy Shop, you will eventually come up with this error.

To fix this, make sure you are logged into the correct Etsy store when you authenticate the shop name in the application

You need to sign in to your Etsy account to contact Etsy Support. Once in, you may proceed with this link : https://www.etsy.com/help/contact?ref=enhc

There are 3 ways to import your products to Integration app:-

  2. Published Products:- Imports only those products which are available on your Shopify store.
  3. Filter Options to Import:- Import products based on some filters like Product type, Product vendor, Smart collection, and Custom collection.

Yes.! CedCommerce will generate custom SKUs to your products in case they don't have any and list the same on the marketplace as well.

As Etsy wants the product that are listed on their channel to be a handmade, craft supply or vintage goods, so if you are trying to list a product that someone else has created, then you need to add that product as a "Supply".

To change it to a "Supply" you need to follow below steps:

1). Visit the "Profiling" section.
2). Enter the "Mapping" part and change the "isSupply" option to "A Supply or tool to make things".
3). Re-upload your product.

Yes, Etsy Shipping templates will be sync on the Etsy Integration App. Keep in mind, we sync only non-calculated Shipping templates due to Etsy's API limitations.

If you have already products listed on Etsy with variants you can link them from here to avoid duplicate listings (Which have duplicate titles & SKU's). If the titles or SKU's are same you just need to click on "Sync from Etsy" button.

After linking already listed Etsy products with their respective Shopify products, the Etsy variants get overwritten by Shopify ones. It means the product's information on Shopify will be overridden on Etsy.

Example: I have 5 variations on Etsy products name ABC and the same product listed on Shopify as Simple products with no variants.

If you link this product from the App then Shopify product will override on Etsy product i.e it makes that product as Simple on Etsy too!

If you are already selling your products on Etsy, then you can manage their inventory and Orders from the Shopify after linking them from the App.

We have to just import the product in the App with a video in it and simply publish it on Etsy through the App. Just make sure that the autosyncing of the "video" should be enabled in the settings section of the Product Management.

NOTES;
Bring your product to life with a 5 to 15 second video - it could help you drive more sales. The video won't feature sound, so let your product do the talking!

  • As per Etsy guidelines, you can send only 1 Video per listing on Etsy
  • Maximum file size should be 100MB
  • Ideal resolution for your video is at least 1080px

According to Etsy If the listing gets out-of-stock on Shopify, the App will automatically inactivate the listing, putting it into the "Edit" state. However, the value will be the same as the last inventory value. You can still send 0 stock on Etsy but at least one of your variants must have a stock greater than 0. In case you want to show 0 inventory on Etsy, the product needs to be in the "Sold Out" state

This error comes when you have not updated the tracking information for the order. If you want to ship the order without tracking number, you need to follow this:

Settings > Order Managment > Order shipment without tracking number > Check "Ship order on Etsy without tracking number"

The error 'SKU not available' comes in Etsy order's, when the order placed for the products that are on Etsy only & not exist in our app, therefore the order is not synced to Shopify successfully & shows the error.

To resolve the error & sync the order to Shopify, either you need to link the product for which the order placed, with its respective Shopify product (if the product exist on both Etsy & Shopify) or you need to create the product at your Shopify first ( if it doesn't exist on Shopify ), then Import it in the app & then link it with its respective Etsy listing.

Go through this DOC link to know more about linking Link Etsy Products

The error 'Ordered item(s) is Out of Stock' comes in Etsy order's, when the order placed for the products don't have sufficient stock (quantity) at Shopify.

To resolve the error & sync the order to Shopify, you need to add some quantity for the ordered item at your Shopify store. Once the app fetches the available quantity as sufficient, it automatically sync the order to Shopify after some time. You can also manually sync the order by clicking on the 'Fetch Order's' button which is in the order section of the app.

The error 'Email domain not valid ' comes in Etsy order's, when the customer gives an email that was not recognized by Shopify & maybe incorrect sometimes.

To resolve the error & sync the order to Shopify, you need to tell the customer to either provide correct mail address with valid domain or you may reach to us & provide an alternate mail address so that we place the order on Shopify with correct mail.

The error comes in the order if the currently set Shopify Location for the ordered product either does not have stock for the product or does not have the permission to fulfil online orders. To fix the error in your orders, you need to follow below steps:

Yes! If the buyer has left a Note with the Order, it will be sent to your Shopify and you can check them in your Notes section in the Order.

The taxes will be shown collectively in your Order when sent to Shopify as there is no valid API through which we can differentiate between the various taxes applied.
The overall amount of tax will be sent and shown in your order in Shopify.

No! Refund for the Etsy Order can only be processed on Etsy, so doing the refund on Shopify won't work in this case. You need to refund the amount directly on Etsy. No amount will be refunded twice.

Yes! If the tracking carrier in your Shopify is blank, you can set the Shipping Carrier in the application. You set the carrier, you need to follow the below steps:

1). Open Settings in the app.
2). Open the Order management Section
3). Scroll to the "Carrier" setting and provide the carrier name accordingly.

No! If the order is unpaid, the application won't fetch that order and sync it to your Shopify. The order needs to be open as well as paid to be created in Shopify.

Yes! You can update the email address by clicking on the icon in the Actions next to that Specfic Failed Order. By updating the address, you'll be able to create the order accordingly.

Yes! If you are getting the tracking for the orders from your POD app, the app will sync the information from there. However, make sure that the POD app does not fulfill the order on Etsy as it will create create conflict with the app's process.

The taxes will be shown collectively in your Order when sent to Shopify as there is no valid API through which we can differentiate between the various taxes applied.
The overall amount of tax will be sent and shown in your order in Shopify.

This error is occured while uploading the products as the owner has not completed the Etsy store on the marketplace. The owner needs to completed the Etsy store first, so that the products can be uploaded on the marketplace.

If the products are already listed on the Etsy, you need to follow the below steps to update the status in the app and to view already listed Etsy products:

1. Go to the "Products" section on the left side.

2. You can see the "More Action" at the top then click on the "Sync with Etsy" from the drop-down.

3. The status of the products will be updated here and if you have different titles and SKU's on Etsy & Shopify both you need to manually link them from here

This error occurs when the all the combinations of variations are not provided. To upload the variant product on Etsy, your product must have the matrix combination of all the variations.

For example: If you have variations in the form of Color (Red, Blue) and Size (S, M, L, XL), then your variations should be in the following combination:

Red : S
Red : M

Red : L
Red : XL
Blue : S
Blue : M
Blue : L
Blue : XL

NOTE:- You can Import a maximum of 100 variants of a product from Shopify & Upload a maximum of 70 variants to ETSY Marketplace.

Licenses are not required if you're selling as an individual but in case you're selling as a company, the licenses will be required to list on Etsy.

No.! Tax IDs are not required to sell on Etsy until your sales cross $10,000. If your sales cross $10,000, only then Etsy will ask for the Tax IDs.

If you update any field on Etsy such as Title, Description etc, the changes will not be updated on the CedCommere app or on your sales channel. You can update these fields in the CedCommerce app or on your Shopify and re-list the products. This will update your listings successfully.

The templates basically save the information that you have provided related to the Shipping or Category so that in future if you need to apply the same conditions, you can instantly use the already created template.
Templates will help in easing up your manual work.

No! You can assign only 1 Shipping Template in a Profile. If you are having different types of products, I would recommend you to create the separate profiles for both the types and assign the shipping differently for them.
No multiple shipping templates can be assigne din a single profile.

"Profiling" is a mandatory process. Without creating the Profiles in the application, the product cannot be sent to Etsy.

Since, Shopify and Etsy are two different platforms, there are some specific fields which are required when listing a product on Etsy. The Profiling needs to be done once per category and the rules will be applied for multiple products, so you don't need to fill the required fields for each and every product specifically to publish on Etsy.

Yes! The Profile is still required. The application can link your Shopify Products with the Already Listed Etsy Products only after the Profile is created. Once the profiles have been created, the products can be easily synced and managed from your Shopify Store.

If the profiles are not made, the orders will also not be able to be synced to your Shopify store instead they'll remain in the "Failed Order" section.

No! The Profiles cannot be created on the basis of the Shopify Collections. You need to create the profile based on the conditions for "Product type", "Vendor", "Tags" or "Title" in the application.

If the newly created product on Shopify is having the similar conditions to the Profile Created in the application, the products will be auto-assigned to that specific profile.

In case, the product does not matches the Profile Conditions, a new profile will be required for that product.

Yes! You can change the Profile for the products anytime. Either create the profile based on new conditions you want to apply or delete the current profile to create a new one to change the rules and conditions

No! The profiles will be created only on the basis of a specific condition. For Example : If the Profile is created based on the condition for 'Product Type - Tshirts', then all the products with this Product Type will be assigned in that profile.
