Walmart takes maximum 6 hours in processing the feed and making it Published. Product's status will not be updated automatically on the app. To update the status of the products follow the below steps:

  • Go to Products.
  • Click on Manage Products.
  • Select the Products.
  • Select "Update Product Status" from Bulk action.
  • Hit the Action button.

Product status will be updated.

Reasons for products not being imported in the app are:

  • Products don't have Product type assigned to them.
  • Some products are imported but not visible on Manage Product Grid.
    This is because their Shopify Product Types are not mapped with the Walmart Category.

Yes, the Product's SKU will be updated on Walmart by sending the SKU Override as YES. This can be done by following the below steps:

  • Go to Products.
  • Click on Manage Products.
  • Click on Edit icon.
  • Go to Price and Inventory tab.
  • Set Sku Override as YES
  • Click on the SAVE button.

At the end upload the product on the Walmart.

Walmart doesn't allow sellers to DELETE the products from Walmart. Sellers can only Retire the products from Walmart if they no longer wish to sell the product. Follow the below steps to RETIRE the product from Walmart

  • Go to Product.
  • Click on Manage Products
  • Select the products and select Retire Products from bulk actions.
  • Hit the Action button.

This will help you remove your products from Walmart and the status of the product will update to UNPUBLISHED.

Walmart accepts following Product Identifiers:

  • GTIN (14 digits)
  • UPC (12 digits)
  • EAN (13 digits)
  • ISBN (10 or 13 digits)
  • ISSN (8 digits)

Partial Order helps you manage your Orders in the following ways:

  • It automatically cancel the Orders that get failed due to Inventory not available or SKU doesn't exist on Shopify.
  • It will help you cancel the part of an Order or complete Order automatically, for example
    • If you receive an Order for 3 different SKUs and you don't have 1 SKU to ship then the Partial Order will help you create the Order in the Shopify store for 2 SKUs and rest 1 SKU's Order will be canceled.
    • If you receive an Order for 4 quantity and  you have only 2 quantity available at the Shopify store then complete order will be Canceled.

To enable the Partial Order, follow the below steps:

  • Go to Settings
  • Then to Order Management.
  • Set YES to Allow Partial Order.
  • Click on SAVE button.

 

 

To retrieve Walmart API credentials you need to follow the below steps:

  • Login to the Walmart Seller Account.
  • Click on the Settings icon.
  • Under the Settings, click on Consumer IDs & Private Keys.
  • You will be redirected to the Consumer IDs and Private Keys.
  • Click on Walmart developer portal button.
  • You will be redirected to the API Keys Management page.
  • From the Production Keys for Solution provider, select CedCommerce as a solution provider.
  • Click on Add Provider button.
  • Provide full access in all the fields.
  • Click on API Keys a pop up box will appear.
  • Click on Copy under the Client id to copy the Client ID.
  • Click on Copy under the Client secret to copy the Client secret keys.
  • Paste the client id and client secret key in the Walmart integration app Settings->API management and then click on SAVE button.

In this program following sellers can apply for the program: # Manufacturers # Private label brand owners # Manufacturers of branded white label products # Creators of custom or handmade products # Sole or exclusive distributors of a product on Walmart.com
For signing up for the program, create a case for Partner Support and submit the following information: # Contact name # Contact email # Contact phone number # Company website URL # Company description # Brand name # Company display name Within two weeks, Walmart will notify you of your application status. If you are approved, a Q&A Connections account will be created for you.

PRODUCT

Once the products are upload on Walmart.com an Item Feed is generated. You need to follow the below steps to check the feed:

  • Go to Walmart Feeds.
  • Select the recent feed
  • Update the status of the feed.
  • Once the feed gets processed, click on to the "View" button to check whether the product had been accepted or rejected by Walmart.

NOTE: It will take maximum 6 hours in processing the feed and making products Published. If the feed is still not processed you need to send the products again to Walmart.

If the variant products are not listed as a group on Walmart.com then you must chek the Attribute Mapping of your products. You can check the Attribute Mapping in 2 ways:

From Product Edit

  • Go to Products.
  • Then to Manage Products.
  • Click on the Edit icon.
  • Go to Category and Attributes tab.
  • Map Shopify Option with Walmart Attributes.

Above process will help you map the attributes of individual products. To map the attributes in bulk follow the below steps:

  • Go to Products
  • Then to Attribute Mapping.
  • Open the categories, map the attributes and click on SAVE button.

This will map the attributes of your products in bulk.

 

Following are the reasons for products being Unpublished and the actions that you can take to make then Published again

  • Main Image Missing: This occurs when some problem occurs while accepting the product on Walmart end and they found no Main Image for your item.
    ACTION: Resubmit (Upload) this item with a valid Main Image.
  • Offer End Date Has Passed: This occurs when the set offer end date is passed.
    ACTION: Resubmit (Upload) this item with an Offer End Date further in the future.
    NOTE: The app set an Offer End Date automatically you just need to uplaod them from Manage products.
  • IMS set up pending: This occurs from the Walmart end when the IMS set up is not complete.
    ACTION: For this you need to re-upload(re-ingest) them from Manage products.
  • Price Parity Not Satisfied: A customer would save by purchasing the SKU on a competing website (Amazon, eBay, etc) from the identical Seller.
    ACTION: When unpublished item prices are back within an acceptable range, Walmart will automatically republish the item. Typically, it can take 1 - 15 minutes for your item to be republished.
  • Reasonable Price Not Satisfied: A customer would save by purchasing the SKU on a competing website (Amazon, eBay, etc) from the identical Seller.
    ACTION: When unpublished item prices are back within an acceptable range, Walmart will automatically republish the item. Typically, it can take 1 - 15 minutes for your item to be republished.
  • Trust and Safety Violation: Your item is violating the rules and regulations of your Walmart Marketplace Retailer Agreement.
    ACTION: Please resubmit your item to meet the standards outlined in the Walmart Marketplace Retailer Agreement. 
    NOTE: If this item would be considered a grocery or consumable item, this message may appear due to new restrictions described in the article Prohibited Products Policy
  • An internal error occurred while publishing this item: A system error occurred while processing your item.
    ACTION: Resubmit (Upload) this item.

Products are showing under Stage state because of the following reasons

  • When the Walmart seller account is not LIVE.
    How to Publish the item?
    You need to complete the Launch Checklist and upload 10% of your catalog to make your account LIVE. Once the Walmart account is LIVE, the Products will be Published automatically.
  • When the Walmart seller account had been suspended.
    You need to appeal to make your account LIVE again.

If you want to disable or remove free shipping from your products then follow the below steps:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Click on Product Management.
  • Under the Walmart Related, set YES to "Remove free shipping from all your products".
  • Now upload all the products on Walmart to send the updated shipping settings there.

The Integration app will automatically sync the images to the app but will not be able to pushed on Walmart.com. To do the same you need to Upload the products via app. If the updated images are not showing up on the app follow the below steps:

  • Go to Product
  • Click on Manage Product
  • Click on Sync with Shopify button.
  • Select the image and de-select rest of the feilds.
  • Hit the Sync button.

This will help you sync all the Shopify images to the app but to send it to Walmart you need to upload the products.

To stop the syncing of any product detail from Shopify to Walmart follow the below steps:

  • Go to the Settings.
  • Click on Product Management.
  • Under Auto Product Syncing, select the options you want keep and de-select the options that you don't want to sync from Shopify to Walmart.
  • Click on SAVE button.

Now you can update the product information from the app and send the updated information on the Walmart.

If you are facing this error while product upload, there maybe two reasons for it:
  1. You must not have mentioned measurement in your attribute mapping section in the profile in which this Proudct Type is saved, or
  2. You must have entered wrong value in wrong field, for example, you must have saved non-integer value where interger should be saved. 
Kindly check your Attribute mapping section in that particular profile, update the changes and click on Save profile. Error will be resolved.

ORDER

Yes, the update in inventory on Shopify will be reflected on the app and on Walmart.com.

NOTE: Walmart takes upto 30 minutes in reflecting the inventory updates on Walmart.com. 

To stop the Email notification, follow the below steps:

  • Click on the "Welcome" on top right corner.
  • Go to Profile.
  • Click on Notifictaions.
  • Under Email Subscriptions de-select the Order Noification.
  • Hit the SAVE button.

If you don't want to manage your Orders from the app, you need to follow the below steps:

  • Go to Settings
  • Click on Order Management.
  • Set Order Synchronization as NO.

This will stop the Order management via Walmart Integration App.

There can be following reasons for Orders not showing up in the app:

  • May be the Order is under the Failed Order section.
  • May be you have disabled the Order Settings.
  • May be the Order is already Acknowleded from other loaction.
    NOTE: If you manully acknowledge the Order from the Seller Center or if any shipping software acknowledge the Order then the app will not be able to fetch the Order. As the app only accepts CREATED state Orders.

 

This means that a particular SKU is not present on our app; you can go to the Not-in-app section of the app on Manage Product and link your SKU with any Shopify SKU to manage orders for that SKU.
If that SKU is not present on Shopify, you need to create it on Shopify.
The SKU for which the order came does not have inventory on Shopify; kindly update the inventory.
Sometimes Walmart takes some time updating inventory, and in between that, order comes and gets failed. To avoid this type of condition, set threshold inventory as 2 or 3 in the Settings section of our App. This means whenever your inventory reaches 2 or 3 (for example), it will show as Out of Stock on Walmart. This way, your orders will never get failed.
